KARACHI - Four persons were killed in various violent incidents here on Friday. A man was killed at Raxer Line area within the jurisdictions of Pak Colony police station.

Police said the victim Khalid Hussain, 25, was shot dead by one Sabir Ali over some dispute. The culprit managed to flee from the spot. Police handed over the body to family after autopsy. Police said the victim’s family remained silent and declined to comment against the accused.  In the jurisdictions of Maripur police station, some gunmen shot dead a man namely Jan Alam near Hawksbay Road of Maripur and managed to flee. Police said the victim was the resident of Musharraf Colony.

He was a cab driver. He was standing near his residence when some gunmen riding a motorbike shot him dead. The family of the victim took the body away without legal formalities.

On the other side, Manghopir Police found a tortured-mark dead body near Northern Bypass. Police said the legs and hands of the victim were tightened with rope. Police shifted the body to morgue for identification after autopsy.

Meanwhile, a sepoy of Rangers was hanged to death under mysterious circumstances at his home in Machar Colony. He was identified as Shahid Ali, 28. He was posted at Ghotki and arrived here on vacations. The victim’s body was taken to Civil Hospital for autopsy and later handed over to the family. Doctors have kept his postmortem report reserved.

Police said it was still unclear that whether he committed suicide or he was hanged to death by someone.
