QUETTA : The gas supply from the Zarghun gas field to Quetta could not be resumed on its sixth day due to which gas was suspended to the CNG stations in the city on Saturday. The gas company had claimed not to cut off gas supply in winters, however, the gas pressure in various areas of Quetta including Sarki Road, Pashtoon Abad and Sariab Road was recorded extremely low whereas a complete gas load-shedding has also been observed in few areas. senior officials of the department have assured to complete work of gas upgrading in Zarghun field as early as possible. Moreover, gas cut off has led to the closure of all the CNG stations for indefinite duration throughout the city.
