FAISALABAD- The city police arrested another accused, Hafiz Imran, for opening straight gunshots at the workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), on December 8 during clashes.
Imran was arrested from Balochni area, located on Sheikhupura Road. He has been shifted to undisclosed location for interrogations.
The sources said, Imran’s arrest will help identify the main culprit who opened fire during Faisalabad shutdown, killing a PTI worker.
According to police sources, the captured man, a resident of Samanabad, is an employee of WASA. He was hiding ever since the Faisalabad bedlam. However, he was tracked down with the help of photographs and footages.
It should be mentioned here that 17 out of 19 people seen in the footage, have been arrested thus far.
