LAHORE - Jamaatud Dawa chief Hafiz Saeed has observed that his party and Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust are on the same page while following the same ideology of ‘United Pakistan’.

“We, together, have been propagating and disseminating the ideology of Pakistan to every nook and corner of the country”, Hafiz Saeed said while addressing a sitting against the convictions of the united Pakistan supporters in Bangladesh held at the Aiwan-i-Karkunan-i-Tehreek-i-Pakistan on Saturday.

He added that it was the travesty of justice to award death and prison sentences after a lapse of four decades to those whose only crime was loyalty to their country.

“In order to prevent the tragedies like Dhaka fall, we must get the Kashmir issue resolved,” he suggested. Had Pakistan focused on its solution and freed Kashmir from the clutches of India, the secession of East Pakistan would not have occurred, which was effected through an Indian conspiracy, he added.

The other speakers included NPT Vice Chairman Prof Dr Rafique Ahmad, Justice (retd) Aftab Farrukh, Khabrain Group of Newspapers chief editor Zia Shahid, Pir Ejaz Hashmi and Maulana Muhammad Shafi Josh. The proceedings of the event were conducted by NPT Secretary Shahid Rasheed.

The JuD leader warned the nation of the most horrible conspiracy being hatched by the United States of America and India, which aimed at capturing Wakhan’s landstrip and commanding control over Baltistan, Gilgit and part of Ladakh.

“This would enable the US to keep the two friends, China and Pakistan, apart by damaging the Silk Route, and India would be able to extend its trade to the Central Asia,” he explained. Only unity among all the segments of society could enable us to face these challenges, he maintained.

It was also announced on Saturday that a special sitting on the services of Mujaddad Alif Sani for revival of Two Nation Theory would be held under the aegis of Nazaria-e-Pakistan Trust on Monday. The ceremony would be presided over by NPT Chairman Rafique Tarrar while Pir Syed Kabir Ali Shah and Sahibzada Mian Waleed Ahmad Sharqpuri would be its chief guests. Speakers would include Daily Tijarat Editor in Chief Jamil Athar and Prof Abdul Qaddus Durrani of Virtual University.
