The meeting between Sartaj Aziz and Sushma Suraj on the sidelines of the recently concluded Heart of Asia conference in Islamabad is a good omen indeed. Neither India nor Pakistan has an option to change their neighbors, so it’s better for both the countries to get along peacefully, in particular Indian government needs to understand that war is not a solution, it’s a huge problem which should be avoided at any cost.
It would be good for the people of both the countries if the governments start moving on. If there is a will there is always a way, if there is a problem there is always a solution. Let’s just hope that this peace process continues without any further hindrance and both the governments won’t let the hawks on both the sides to hijack this process.
