KARACHI: Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Corps and Rangers headquarters here on Wednesday where he was briefed on the overall law and order situation in Sindh, especially Karachi.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the army chief was also briefed about achievements made during the Karachi operation and its future strategy. 

General Bajwa appreciated the improvement in law and order situation in Karachi and said the operation against terrorism will continue till the elimination of last terrorist.

The army chief was received upon arrival by Corps Commander Lt-Gen Naveed Mukhtar, who was recently appointed as the new director general of Inter-Services Intelligence.
