Seven NP workers injured in Turbat grenade attack

QUETTA - At least seven NP activists yesterday sustained injuries when unidentified miscreants hurled a hand grenade at the National Party office in Turbat. According to details, unknown armed persons hurled a hand grenade at the National Party office in Turbat, which exploded with a huge bang and wounded seven party activists.

All the injured, reported to be residents of district Turbat, were shifted to a nearby hospital. National Party President Mir Hasil Khan Bizenjo strongly condemned the attack on the NP office in Turbat and said the party believed in democratic struggle. He also lashed out at the anti-state elements that were creating law and situation at the behest of foreign powers, saying the NP would not bow before terrorists.  Addressing a hurriedly-called press conference at Gwadar after the incident, NP President and State Minister for Ports and Shipping Mir Hasil Khan Bizenjo said a terrorist group had attacked the party office, injuring seven workers. 

He pledged the National Party leaders would continue to stand by the masses, adding the time had proved those carrying out agenda of their foreign masters were not well-wishers of the Baloch nation. He also prayed for the early recovery of the party workers.
