Space Exploration has become the latest pursuit of the ever-curious human nature. This project gained much traction during the Cold War when the global powers competed on all fronts including space exploration. On 14th December, 1962 American aircraft Mariner 2 became the first space craft to probe the surface of Venus. It was the second craft by the name which was sent on the project to get information about Venus. The last information received from the craft was on 3rd January of 1963. However, by then the craft had been able to send information vital for start research on Venus.
