Crying wolf

We in Pakistan are rightly crying wolf every time India undertakes any construction on our rivers. We must also bother to find out whether it is a hydropower station with allowable capacity that is being built or a dam with a reservoir which exceeds the allowable limits. The former is allowed under IWT but the latter is not. It is imperative that the government acquire complete information on all ongoing projects and also disseminate it to the public. Otherwise we will keep floundering in the dark. There is only so much that we can do to stop India, but there is nothing to stop us from increasing our reservoir capacity to counter the Indian threat.
