LAHORE - PML-N President Nawaz Sharif has said the Supreme Court, by dismissing the petition of Dr Qadri, has saved the elections from being sabotaged. The PML-N chief told media people after a party meeting here Wednesday that the decision was victory of justice and rule of law, which would go a long way to strengthen democracy in the country as well as to discourage conspiratorial elements. He said names for the caretaker set-up at the federal level had been finalised by his party while work was in progress for the provincial set-ups. The party, he said, had discussed names for the provincial set-ups.  Nawaz Sharif said the people would vote for the parties which wanted to serve them sincerely. He also asked the party leaders to expedite mass contacts and preparations for the next elections. The meeting also discussed and finalised Nawaz Sharif’s upcoming visit to Sind.
