PM assures Qaim support in targeted operation

ISLAMABAD : Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif telephoned to Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah from Ankara, expressing his grief over the loss of precious lives in the attack on police bus on Thursday. The PM said such cowardly acts could not demoralise the nation. He said the federal government would fully support the Sindh government in its targeted operation against terrorists.
In Karachi‚ at least 12 policemen were martyred and forty injured when a suicide bomber rammed his explosive-laden vehicle into a police bus outside police training centre in Razakabad area. Qaim has sought report from Inspector General Police about the incident.
