Four injured in balloon gas cylinder blast

Rawalpindi - A balloon seller and three others were injured when the cylinder being used for filling gas in balloons exploded here at Dheri Hassanabad, informed police yesterday.
Rescue 1122 shifted the injured to Benazir Bhutto Hospital for medical treatment where they were identified as Muhammad Ramzan, Shehzad, Waseem and Ilyas. The condition of the vendor was told to be critical.
According to Sub-Inspector Muhammad Amjad, the investigation officer, vendor Muhammad Ramzan was mixing carbide and soda in the gas tank when it blasted with a big bang. Police registered the incident in daily crime register and started investigation, he said.
A doctor at Benazir Bhutto Hospital said that the condition of the vendor was critical whereas the three others victims have been discharged after providing necessary treatment.
