KARACHI - The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has announced the date of election for intermediate colleges and higher secondary schools to elect their representative for the board of governors.

A statement stated here on Tuesday that election will be held at Board office library on March 15 from 9 am to 2 pm. The principals of intermediate colleges and higher secondary schools, both government and private, will elect their representative for the BIEK’s boards of governors in this election.

According to schedule, candidates can submit their nomination papers on March 5 from 10 am to 3:30 pm with returning officer who is also secretary board Zarina Rahid.

The scrutiny of nomination papers will be conducted on March 7, while the final list will be issued on March 12.

It was further informed that voters list has been dispatched to the relevant education institutions, objection on voters list may be submitted on Feb 20, scrutiny will be made on the objection on Feb 21 while the final voters list will be issued on February 26.
