LAHORE -  A delegation of the British investors, led by Rehman Chishti, Trade Envoy of UK’s Prime Minister for Pakistan & Member Parliament called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif here yesterday.

The delegation lauded the performance of Chief Minister towards development of the province, expressed the desire to promote trade and economic relations with Punjab.  The delegates found vast opportunities for investment in Punjab.

The Chief Minister in this talks highlighted historic relations between Pakistan and the UK and said it is an opportunity to boost trade and economic relations between the two countries. The Chief Minister said welcomed British investors and assured them to provide every facility. Provincial Ministers Sheikh Allauddin, Malik Nadeem Kamran, Vice Chairman Investment Board Kh. Ahmed Hasaan, Chief Secretary, Chairman P&D and concerned authorities were also present on the occasion.
