LAHORE - A planned meeting between the PPP-P president Asif Ali Zardari and Emir Jamat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq scheduled for Sunday evening was postponed at the eleventh hour due to the illness of the former.
The PPP sources said that Asif Zardari was under treatment at a local hospital and his condition was stable. The meeting with JI chief Sirajul Haq was part of the Opposition parties’ move to reach out to all the political parties to enlist their support against the government.
