LAHORE - PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has asked the ruling PPP to handover Balochistan to the Army keeping in view the bloodshed in the volatile province.

Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain made this demand while talking to the media after inaugurating a shopping mall here on Sunday.

He said: “whether it is democratic or undemocratic, the Army should take control of Balochistan, stressing that Chief Minister Aslam Khan Raisani should immediately return to the province or resign”.

Shujaat said that people in Balochistan were protesting with bodies as people were losing their tolerance and this situation demands handing over Balochistan to the Army without any further delay.  Responding to a query, he said that Dr Tahirul Qadri’s long march has just started, while negotiations were underway and hoped that matters would be solved when he reaches Islamabad.
