ARIFWALA - Friend’s Group and its allies made a clean sweep in the Tehsil Bar Association Arifwala (TBAA) election.
As per detail, the Friends Group and its allies including United Group, Justice Lawyer Group and sweep the annual election held here the other day. Friend’s candidate Abrar Sheikh was elected President, Peer Mushtaq Shah vice president, Ahsan Dogar general secretary, Farooq Tasneem Joint Secretary, Murtaza Jatt Finance Secretary and Ejaz Ch was elected Library Secretary. Abrar Sh won the president’s slot with historic lead of 80 votes. It is to be noted that the contest was between PTI-back candidate Imtiaz Dhudi and PML-N-backed Abrar Sheikh.
book fair today: A four-day book fair will start at Bahuddin Zakariya University (BZU) on Monday (today).
According to BZU sources, the book fair will be held at Central Library of the university and conclude on January 17. Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) Vice Chancellor Dr Khawaja Alqma will inaugurate the fair.
