Shia ulema want Quetta under army’s control



PESHAWAR - To express solidarity with the bereaved families of Quetta blast victims, Shia Ulema Council held a protest demonstration at Kochi Bazaar and demanded of the federal government to hand over the control of Balochistan government to Pakistan Army.
Earlier a procession was taken out from Imambargah Akhunabad Church road to observe the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hassan-(R) however later, on the call Shia Ulema Council the procession was turned to a protest rally to condemn the Quetta carnage.
The protesters while holding banner and placards chanted full-throated slogans against PPP led coalition government. They expressed their heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved families of blasts victims in Quetta and stressed government to fulfill all the demands of affected people of Quetta.
They said that government has been failed to protect the lives and property of the masses and they have no right to rule the country any more. The protester said that government should immediately heed the demands of Quetta blast victims and must hand over the control of provincial capital of Balochistan to security forces.
