Regent Plaza Hotel launches hi-tea

KARACHI (PR): Regent Plaza Hotel and Convention Center have announced the launch of an extensive hi-tea buffet menu at their all-day dining restaurant, Jharoka.

The special hi-tea buffet offers an eclectic menu, combining popular continental dishes with Pakistani delicacies. Decorated in a modern style, Jharoka is a place most suitable for friends & family to meet in the evenings.

Regent’s Hi-Tea Buffet was launched as a special event for the guests, corporate clients and representatives of the media in Karachi. Masarrat Misbah, the founder of Depilex SmileAgain Foundation, was the chief guest.

During the event, the management of Regent Plaza also announced that the hotel will be donating Rs25 from each Hi-Tea Buffet sold to the Depilex SmileAgain Foundation for the next month.

Heimtextile 2016

LAHORE (PR): Heimtextile is one of the largest home-textile fairs in the world. This year around 2817 exhibitors from around 68 countries are participating in the event and like every year more than 60,000 buyers from around 130 countries are expected to place orders in the event. Pakistan is the 4th largest exhibitor in the event with around 219 exhibitors out of which 55 exhibitors are participating under Trade Development Authority of Pakistan’s umbrella at Pakistan Pavilion. The event will be held till 15th January 2016.

Home textiles is one of the most important export industry of Pakistan and exhibitors from Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad and other important textile producing cities of Pakistan are participating in the event.

SNGPL MD visits sub-office

LAHORE (PR): SNGPL MD Amer Tufail visited sub-office Multan Road and expressed his displeasure on the lack of provision of quality services to the consumers. Accordingly, he suspended in-charge sub-office Multan Road. He further directed that all employees shall ensure provision of expeditious service to public at large on immediate basis.

UCP awards PhD degree

LAHORE (PR): University of Central Punjab has awarded PhD degree in commerce to Prof Muhammad Ahmed. He is the 3rd PhD produced by Faculty of Commerce, UCP Lahore. The title of his thesis was “Impact of Mergers & Acquisitions on Operating Performance of Firms: Evidence from Pakistan”. After fulfillment of all the requirements prescribed by the University and approval of the Board of Advanced Studies & Research, he has been awarded the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Commerce by UCP.
