Habitt launches new home decor products

 KARACHI (PR): In order to pay tribute to Pak-China friendship and further strengthen the bond between the two countries, Habitt has a launched co-created range of new home décor products inspired by Chinese art & civilization, fused with local Pakistani trends.

The launch ceremony, which was held at Habitt’s flagship outlet, was attended by the Consular Attaches - Economic & Commercial Office of Consulate General of China in Karachi. Habitt is also a member of Pak-China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry and takes pride in welcoming trade delegations and Chinese expats to its stores in the future as well.

COO Habitt, Adnan Ahmed spoke about the efforts that Habitt puts into product design. He said that particular attention is paid towards the originality of designs and it is for this purpose that Habitt has committed sizeable resources to local design and product development. Habitt is a complete home store which was launched in Pakistan in 2001 by IBL Group.

 ChenOne opens store in Bahria Town

 LAHORE (PR): ChenOne has opened its newest store in Bahria Town, Lahore. COO of ChenOne Mian Umair Javed graced the opening ceremony.

 Bahria Town ‘Clean Karachi’ campaign continues

KARACHI (PR): Bahria Town has commenced the 2nd phase of ‘Clean Karachi’ campaign in Korangi district. Cdr Zulfiqar Memon, GM Bahria Town Karachi, and Mr. Waseem Akhtar, Mayor Karachi, officially launched Korangi phase in a ceremony held at Rashid Latif Cricket Academy located in Korangi 5.

Cdr Zulfiqar Memon, GM Bahria Town Karachi, said, “Every member of Bahria Town is steadfast in its plan to clean the entire city. Chairman Bahria Town Malik Riaz Hussain has specially instructed us to not let any hurdle slow us down or stop us in our efforts to make Karachi a better and a cleaner place. Bahria Town has volunteered its resources, team and equipment for the task to make it a success.”

Mayor Karachi, Waseem Akhtar thanked Bahria Town for staying true to their promise of cleaning the city and make it livable again for the people.

In this phase, ‘Clean Karachi’ campaign will be carried out in the district of Korangi. An organized plan has been laid out by dividing the district in four zones which are Model Zone, Shah Faisal Zone, Korangi Zone and Landhi Zone. There are four main Garbage T Stations (GTS) and numerous self made garbage dumpsters. In order to clear this years old garbage dumps, Bahria Town Karachi has dedicated a team of thousands of personnel, heavy machinery including dumper, loader, excavators, Bob Cat, tractor and trolley.

Bahria Town initiated the Clean Karachi Campaign in August 2017 by virtue of an MoU signed between Chairman Bahria Town Malik Riaz Hussain and Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar to lift the garbage backlog.

Chairman Bahria Town Malik Riaz Hussain has pledged 10 billion rupees for cleaning and face-lifting of the business capital of Pakistan.

In addition, Malik Riaz Hussain offered assistance to city government for providing financial and technical support for any hospitals and schools in the city.

Besides this campaign, Bahria Town’s crisis management wing plays a proactive role in any emergency situation in Karachi. Bahria Town has carried out timely and effective rescue and relief operations on numerous occasions.

 Another NICVD Centre established

 KARACHI (PR): The National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases - NICVD Karachi in collaboration with government of Sindh has established one more NICVD Centre to provide state of the art cardiovascular services to the people of Sindh at their doorstep in Sehwan Sharif now.

Chairman, Pakistan Peoples Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari inaugurated NICVD’s fourth Satellite Centre at Sayed Abdullah Shah Institute of Medical Sciences, Sehwan. The inaugural ceremony was also attended by Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, Health Minister Sindh, Dr. Sikandar Ali Mandhro, Health Secretary Sindh, Dr. Fazlullah Pechuho, district administration and hospital management.
