MANDI BAHAUDDIN:- As part of drive against quackery and fake treatment centres launched by Punjab Healthcare Commission, a health officials team checked several treatment centres and sealed a fake clinical lab namely Al-razi at King Road. It was being run by one Razaq who could not produce his qualification and licence for the lab. Speaking on the occasion Shabbir Cheema said it was mission of PHC to improve the quality, safety and efficiency of healthcare services.

He said to achieve the mission checking of all types of health centre, orthopedic centres and dental clinics would continue. Fake clinics being run by quacks would be sealed and their staff would be proceeded against under the law, he said. He added no unqualified person would be allowed to play with the life of citizens.
