ISLAMABAD - US Charge d’Affaires to Pakistan Ms Angela Aggeler called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the GHQ on Thursday.
“During the meeting, matters of mutual interest, regional security situation including Afghanistan and bilateral cooperation in various fields were discussed,” says a press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate.
While speaking on this occasion, COAS emphasised the need for global efforts to address evolving situation in Afghanistan particularly the humanitarian crisis. The visiting dignitary appreciated Pakistan’s role and efforts for regional peace and stability.
