LAHORE - District and Sessions Court on Monday summoned the mangers of United Bank Limited (UBL) and Alfalah Bank Limited along with record of alleged stolen credit card, which was used by PML-N MPA Shumaila Rana at two different shops. The court issued these orders on an application submitted by the Ghalib Market police seeking directions of the court to get the credit cards record from the banks. The police had submitted that it required credit cards information from the relevant banks for investigation in the case of Shumaila Rana. The court summoned the bank managers of both the banks and directed them to provide the credit cards records as per their rules and regulation. The Ghalib Market police had registered a case against the PML-N MPA for allegedly stealing two credit cards from a womans wallet and buying jewellery and clothes worth Rs 80,000 on those cards. The FIR No 551/09 was registered under Section 379 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC), on the complaint of Muqeet Salam, brother-in-law of Zaira Malik, the credit cards owner.
