Sindh Minister for Transport Akhtar Jadoon was arrested at Jinnah Terminal of Karachi Airport, as authorities had recovered two pistols from his vehicle. Later, he was released on a phone call from high ups, reported a private TV channel on late Monday night. According to details, Jadoon arrived at Karachi Airport from Islamabad, When he was leaving the airport, airport police searched his vehicle and recovered two pistols. He was asked to show license of the weapons which he could not produce at the spot. However, he said he could provide license later on, but Airport Security Force officials refused to release him. After a short while, airport authorities allowed the minister to leave after receiving a phone call from high ups, the channel added.
