QUETTA Two people, including a suspected kidnapper and personnel of Frontier Corps (FC) were killed in a gun-fight, in Kabu area of Kalat district, some 160 kilometers, southeast of Quetta. FC also succeeded to secure release of its two abducted personnel and arrested eight accused persons. According to sources, personnel of FC on a secret information carried out a search operation in Kabu, a mountainous area of Kalat to recover its two soldiers Tahir and Muhammad Asif who were kidnapped by unidentified armed men from Quetta two days ago. 'FC personnel surrounded the area, on which kidnappers opened firing that killed a FC man. Security forces also fired back in retaliation that resulted in death of a suspected kidnapper, sources said ,adding, both kidnapped FC personnel were also recovered unhurt. Official sources said that security forces also arrested eight accused persons and recovered arms from their possession. However, names of accused have been kept secret. FC personnel Tahir and Muhammad Asif, hailing from Sargodha and Faisalabad respectively were posted at Ghaza Bund Scouts on the outskirts of Quetta were coming to the City when armed men had whisked them away at gun-point on Sunday. It may be recalled here that two months earlier unknown people kidnapped two FC men on their way to Quetta and later their bodies had been found in Wadh area of Khuzdar.
