QUETTA - Two people were killed and two others wounded in two separate incidents of firing in Quetta and Mastung areas of Balochistan on Tuesday. According to police, unidentified armed gun-men riding a motorbike opened indiscriminate firing on Rahat chemicals, located on Yet Road of the City and escaped from the site after committing the crime. As a result, Muhammad Raza and Malik sustained bullet wounds and were rushed to nearby Civil Hospital Quetta. However, Muhammad Raza succumbed to his injuries. On getting information, police and personnel of law-enforcement agencies rushed to the site and cordoned off the area. Motive behind the murder is yet to be ascertained. Police handed over the body to heirs after completing legal formalities and started further investigations. It may be mentioned here that the same shop was also previously attacked in which a person was killed. In another incident, a driver of a trailer was killed and his companion wounded in Mastung district, some 60 kilometers south of Quetta. Deceased Muhammad Ibra-him and injured Sarwar belong to Punjab,who were on their way to Quetta from Karachi. As they reached Ghanja Dowari area of Mastung district unidentified armed assailants sprayed volley of bullets on their vehicle. Levies sources said that investigation were underway to ascertain motive behind the killing, however, it could be an incident of target killing. Levies has registered a case against unidentified persons and started investigations.
