KARACHI - Seven people including a woman were killed in different areas of the City on Tuesday. As per detail, a woman was killed for honour at Muhammadi Road, Shershah in the remits of Shershah police station. Police said the deceased woman Haleema, 40, wife of Basheer, was the resident of the same area. She was shot dead by her son Munir. SP Naeem said the deceased left her home three times and then came back after few days and lived again with them. At present, when she left the home and came again, the angry son Munir shot him. They added that on the jeering of the area people, he killed his mother. The deceased was the mother of two children and her husband was a labourer. Police also said that Munir was a drug addict and jobless. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal formalities and handed over to the heirs. No case was registered till the filing of this story. In another incident, a man was gunned down in Machar Colony during a quarrel in the limits of Docks police station. According to the police official, the victim Ali Muhammad, 30, son of Pir Zada, was killed in Machar colony by three brothers Faizullah, Amanullah and Niazullah. Police further said the incident occurred at Khushal Khan Khattak Chowk where he was shot dead. The victim used to live in the same area where the incident took place. He was jobless. Police had lodged an FIR No 266/10 against the three brothers. Police said that the reason behind the incident was the personal enmity. Separately, a slaughtered body of one Ayub Khan, son of Haji Dost Muhammad, was recovered from Khyber Chowk within the limits of Mochko police station. SHO Farman said the victim hailed from Waziristan District Tank and had migrated to Karachi few months back. He was living alone in the room. Officer further said victim was nominated in murder case in Waziristan and this was the main motive behind the killing. He was working on daily wages. A security guard of a local company was accidentally shot dead by his own riffle in Clifton in the limits of Boat Basin police station. Police officials said the victim 42-years-old Haji Gul Muhammad, son of Omair Gul, a security guard at a local franchise, shot himself dead unintentionally. The victim was hailed from Kohat and used to live with his son. Police shifted his body to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for legal formalities and handed over to his son. Meanwhile, a man was crushed to death by a speedy truck at Bahadurabad in the remits of Ferozabad police station. According to police, the deceased Mumtaz, 50, son of Karam Muhammad, was the resident of the slum area of Dohraje Colony. At the time of the incident, he was going on his motorcycle when a speedy truck hit him and managed to escape. The body was shifted to JPMC for autopsy and handed over to the heirs. In another incident, a truck and a taxi collided which resulted in the death of one person at ICI Bridge in the remits of Jackson police station. Police said the deceased Aslam Khan, 32, son of Rana Sheikh, was the resident of Mominabad, Orangi Town. He was a taxi driver. After the incident the accused truck driver managed to escape from the scene. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for legal formalities and handed over to the family. Separately, a man died due to over dosage at Walika Hosptal in the remits of Site-A police station. Police said the identity of the deceased was yet to be ascertained. Police suspected that he died due to over dose. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for autopsy and moved to mortuary for identification.
