BAJAUR AGENCY The militants razed another school to the ground after their planted explosive material went off at a government middle school for boys here on Tuesday. According to the details, the militants, who were capable enough to escape from the vigilance of the security forces deployed at a check post hardly a furlong away from the school, blew up the school with the explosive material and the blast was even heard in the far off places. The blown up school was situated in Umaray village of Tehsil Mamund, some 16 km away from the agencys headquarter Khar. A total of 92 schools have so far been destroyed by the militants in Bajaur Agency during the last two years. A day earlier a girls primary school in Sheikh Baba was also blown up by the miscreants. It is pertinent to mention here that after the political administrations announcement of implementing the writ of the govt in the region, the act of blowing up schools has gained momentum and during the last three months a total of 20 govt schools have been destroyed up till now. Meanwhile, a bomb planted on the roadside at Tanni area in Tehsil Mamund exploded with a big bang but the patrolling team of the security forces, which was passing nearby the site, survived the attack.
