FJWU students display artwork

RAWALPINDI – The Bachelors of Computer Arts Department, Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU), Friday organised a creative artwork display in the university premises.
On the occasion, FJWU Dean Faculty of Law, Commerce, Management and Administrative Sciences Dr Naheed Zia Khan was the chief guest. The show was commenced to appreciate the efforts of the BCA students. The work exhibited in the display was a beautiful amalgamation of creativity and innovation.
Students displayed their work in Batik, Paintography, Oil paintings, Textiles, Pestle Work, Weaving, Animation and Graphic Design etc. Talking about the work of the students, Dr Naheed Zia Khan said that the display showed their ability to conceptualise and demonstrate their creative abilities in their fields. She said that nowadays the emphasis was more on western culture. It was the responsibility of the teachers to encourage the traditional work and give confidence to the students by portraying the rich and colourful tradition of Pakistan.
