LAHORE:  The LCCI Acting President Mian Tariq Misbah has termed Punjab budget for the year 2014-15 as masses & business-friendly, pro-industry and relief oriented.

In a press statement issued on Friday soon after the Punjab Budget 2014-15 speech, Mian Tariq Misbah said that Chief Minister0 Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif deserves appreciation for presenting well balanced budget that would certainly pave way for progress & prosperity in the Province of Punjab. 

Mian Tariq Misbah said that Punjab Budget 2014-15 is unprecedented because no new tax has been imposed while allocations for development projects, poverty alleviation, education and health would go a long way in giving required boost the province.

The LCCI Acting President said that whole country in general and the industrial sector in particular was suffering heavily because of severe energy shortage in the country. Sufficient allocation for energy projects is a step in right direction and ample proof of Mian Shahbaz Sharif’s visionary approach and untiring efforts for resolving the energy crisis.–Staff Reporter

He also welcomed various initiatives announced in the Punjab Budget to give relief to the masses.

The LCCI Acting President said that huge funds for irrigation, livestock and agriculture sector would help bring green revolution in the province.

Mian Tariq Misbah said that allocation of sufficient funds for maintenance of Law and Order in the province was enough to prove Punjab government was serious in maintaining law and order at every cost.

The Acting President said that allocation of sufficient for South Punjab is like a fresh breath for the people of that area.

The LCCI Vice President Kashif Anwar also welcomed the Punjab Budget 2014-15 and hoped that it would play a vital role to turn Punjab into a hub of trade & investment activities.
