PESHAWAR -  The Election Tribunal Abbottabad Friday ordered re-election on 22 women polling stations at PK-58 constituency, Torghar district.

Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam-Fazal (JUI-F) candidate Zareen Gul had won the PK-58 seat in the general elections. However, his rival candidate of ANP Namroz Khan accused him of rigging the polls and challenged his victory. Namroz pleaded that his rival polled fake votes in some 22 women polling stations of the constituency. JUI-F candidate Zareen Khan had obtained a total of 8,417 votes against his rival ANP’s Namroz Gul, who had got 6,220 votes. The Election Tribunal suspended provincial assembly membership of Zareen Gul and issued order of re-polling on women 22 polling stations after the NADRA verification report of fingerprints.
