Rehman Malik urges for better security at airports

KARACHI- Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Senator and former Interior Minister, Rehman Malik urged for more security arrangements at airports.

Talking to journalists at airport today, Malik said such types of attacks are not good for Pakistan’s reputation.

He hoped that the government would learn from its mistakes and would not repeat. Answering a question, he said “there should be a thorough investigation into the attack.”

Malik also raised question about Indian arms that are being used in Pakistan for terrorism.

Meanwhile, PPP leader Nafisa Shah said that the federal government must take responsibility of the airport attack. She added that Karachi’s future seemed like that of Waziristan, Quetta and Peshawar.
