Ilamabad - Roots International Schools (RIS), an IB world school, conducted orientation and counselling seminar here at RIS Richmond Campus, opposite to DHA-II.
The purpose of the orientation was to create awareness among parents and students of twin cities about different programmes like Matric, IGCSE, A-levels , B.Sc, ACCA, LLB, FD, IFP &HND being offered at RIS and Metropolitan International University College.
These orientation sessions are specifically designed to enlighten and educate parents and students about the scope of qualifications and counsel them for their future academic decisions based on the abilities and interests of the student. Roots International Schools’ agenda is the advancement and dissemination of knowledge, to spur critical and intellectual deliberations, enable future generations to have aspirations and empower them to compete globally. Roots International is playing the leading role in elevating the educational standards into the modern 21st century schooling model.
Asad Mehmood, Business Relationship Manager of ACCA Pakistan, who was invited as a guest speaker briefed the audience about the ACCA qualifications and the benefits of pursuing it.
Kulsoom Tanvir, general manager of Roots International Schools, briefed the attendees of the orientation session, about the programmes and counselled the students according to their skills and aspirations. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right. She encouraged students to develop skills with the changing to times take advantage of the opportunities given to them.
