LAHORE - American baseball coach Brian Furches has reached the Lahore city for a one-week stay in Pakistan. During his stay, Furches will provide training to Pakistan baseball team in a camp established at baseball academy here, informed Syed Fakhar Ali Shah, President Pakistan Federation Baseball (PFB). After this short training programme, the American coach will again come back to Pakistan in August to join the PFB for one year during which he will not only be training national players but will also train Pakistan the PBF trainers. During his one-year stay in Pakistan, he will also have the company of his family. Fakhar added: “We have been earlier inviting international coaches to train our players for short durations.” Fakhar said the principal American coach’s current visit was to evaluate the game of baseball in Pakistan. During his current visit Furches will also meet Chairman PFB besides visiting Bahria Baseball academy in Lahore.
