Karachi  : The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at $9,375.7 million on Mar 07, 2014. The break-up of the foreign reserves position showed foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan were $4,622.6 million and net foreign reserves held by banks $4,753.1 million. During the week ending 07 Mar 2014, SBP’s liquid FX reserves increased by $702 million to $4,623 million compared to $3,921 million in the previous week.  The increase in the central bank reserves is attributed to receipts from multilateral and bilateral sources.  During the week ending 07 Mar 2014, total official payments were $92 million.
