MAILSI -On the invitation of Punjab Governor Ch Sarwar, UK Parliamentarian Kerry Pollard visited different schools and hospitals here the other day.

On the occasion, the UK Parliamentarian asked many questions from students of the Educators. He also visited Tehsil Headquarters Hospital and went to different wards and appreciated the arrangements. He expressed his satisfaction over the cleanliness at the hospital.

Talking to the media, he said that “Pakistan is a peaceful country but law and order situation in some parts of the country is problematic. The private sector is providing better facilities in the education sector particularly in small towns like Mailsi.”

Kerry Pollard mentioned that in the UK, the public funds always released for the betterment of schools and hospitals and they used in a better way but in Pakistan, he saw, different situation which he intended to discuss with the Punjab Governor.

He said that “many people in Pakistan who live below the poverty line gain from the projects supported by the UK Department for International Development’s valuable programmes in education, health and governance.”

UK national Barrister Hummayun Khalid, former MNA Noor Khan Bhabha, former Tehsil Council chairman Sardar Noor Khan Malazai, Mushtaq Qadri, Qaiser Mushtaq Bhabha, Tahir Sahoo, Ch Amir, Ch Shafiq, Raja Altaf, and Sajjad Saeedi were also presented on the occasion.
