Islamabad - Islamabad police have arrested 11 outlaws from various areas of the city, besides recovering stolen car, narcotics, 50 wine bottles, weapons and stolen valuables from their possession, a police spokesman said on Friday.
According to details, Kohsar police arrested one Ramzan for having one 30-bore pistol. Secretariat police arrested two thieves Mukhtar and Habib while a drug pusher namely Noor was nabbed and 1.2 kilograms hashish was recovered from him.
Bhara Kahu police arrested a bootlegger Mubarik and recovered four wine bottles from him. Shalimar police arrested two accused Awais Khan and Hamza Danish. Industrial Area police arrested a bootlegger Waris Masih and recovered 46 wine bottles from him. Shehzad Town police arrested Arif, Nayaab and recovered one 12-bore gun each from their possession.
Sihala police arrested accused Sajjid Ali and recovered one 30-bore pistol along with ammunition from him.
Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is under way. SSP Islamabad has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials to accelerate their efforts to curb activities of anti-social elements.
