Islamabad -  Newly appointed Managing Director of Associated Press of Pakistan, Sheraz Latif, on Friday said that all genuine demands of employees would be fulfilled on priority basis.

He said this while talking to a delegation of the APP Employees Union of Pakistan (CBA). The MD assured the delegation that employees’ genuine demands, including up-gradation of journalistic initial cadre, provision of better medical facilities and professional trainings, would be addressed. He said that financial issues of the organisation would also be addressed.

The MD also assured the delegation that the contract employees will be regularised soon while issue related to medical facilities will also be addressed on priority basis.

He urged employees to do their professional work with full dedication and commitment for the betterment of the organisation. Beside other officials, the meeting was attended by Executive Director APP Muhammad Naeem Choudhry, while union delegation was represented by union office-bearers including Shahzad Akbar, Rasheed Malik, Sohail Cheema, Nadeem Iqbal, Moniba Iftikhar, Shahid Butt, Yawar Abbas, Arshad Majeed and Rao Sharjeel.
