ATTOCK:-The police claimed to have arrested five wanted operatives of the Lyari gang war from Dhok Kissan area here in district Attack on Sunday. The police said that acting on a tip-off, a police team led by RPO Fakhr Sultan carried out a raid in Dhok Kissan and arrested the five wanted members of Lyari gang war holed up in the area. They were identified as Noor Zaman, Safdar Hussain, Hameed Khan, Ansar Hussain and Ghulam Hussain.–Agencies/Monitoring
The police informed that Tariq Aziz, son of Noor Zaman had been killed in a gun battle with Rangers while two other sons are at large.
The RPO claimed that 22 weapons of different kinds, thousands of bullets, four vehicles, six computers, 38 cellphones, 25 tolas of gold, Prize bonds and Rs30 million were also recovered from their possession. The police have shifted the accused to unidentified location for interrogation.
