A six-year-old boy was allegedly tortured to death by a madrasa teacher here in Village Aaki Kay, Rasulpur the other day.
Muhammad Saleem, father of six-year-old Omer, told the police that his son studied in Madrasa at Darul Uloom Farooqia. He claimed that the boy was found dead in his room, accusing that Qari Maulana Tahir and his brother Maulana Khalid had tortured his son to death. The Ellahabad Police shifted dead body of the boy to hospital for autopsy and started further investigation. The madrasa administration, however, denied the charges and said that the boy had died of food-poisoning.
