LAHORE - Meteorological department has forecast rainfall of varying intensities for parts of the country during the next couple of days.

According to the experts, westerly wave is persisting over upper and central parts of the country. Rain-thundershower, gusty winds and snowfall over the hills is expected at scattered places in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Fata, Islamabad, upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala and Sargodha divisions), Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Rain is expected at isolated places in Quetta, Zhob, Lahore, Multan, Sahiwal and DG Khan divisions.

Meanwhile, weather remained dry in most parts of the country including Lahore on Tuesday. However, rain-thundershower occurred at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Rawalpindi divisions, Fata, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.

Maximum and minimum temperature in Lahore was recorded 33 degree Celsius and 16C respectively.
