RAWALPINDI (Online) - Federal Defence Minister Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar on Tuesday underlined that Pakistan Army is a valuable asset of our country stressing that its defense needs will be fulfilled at any cost. Federal Defence Minister Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar expressed these views while talking to Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Kayani in Defence Ministry on Tuesday. During the meeting, Mukhtar said that we want stable and durable atmosphere in Pakistan adding no compromise shall be made over defense of the country. He lauded the gigantic efforts of Pak Army terming it vital for the country. He said that Government would provide optimum assistance to Jawans of Pakistan Army so that they are well equipped to tackle challenges. On the other hand, Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Kayani briefed the Defense Minister regarding the efforts of Pakistan Army in defense activities and other projects.
