AS Carrie Bradshaw she enthralled women across the world with her kooky style for six years. And Sarah Jessica Parker didn't disappoint when she arrived for the long awaited world premiere of the Sex And The City movie wearing an outrageous, horticulturally themed hat. SJP, as she's more commonly known, wore a towering Philip Treacy creation, complete with butterflies and huge green corsage atop her head as she took centre stage on the red carpet. Maybe Anglophile SJP's blooming creation was a nod to the looming Chelsea Flower Show. The 43-year-old actress, who rose to fame playing singleton Carrie Bradshaw, wore the stunning titfer with a matching pistachio coloured Alexander McQueen prom dress, and eschewed her now famous Manolo Blahnik shoes for a pair of designer McQueen's super high stilettos.  Her arrival at Leicester Square provoked near hysteria among fans.  She said: "I'm so thrilled to be here in London."  But many could not help but wonder why the world premiere took place in London rather than New York, which is often referred to as "the fifth character" in the series. Daily Mail Asked why the premiere was in London and not New York, where the series is set, SJP answered diplomatically: "We decided to have it here and we're delighted to be here." Co-star Kim, 51, was the second to arrive, wearing a red off-the-shoulder knee-length dress with a faint stripe by Vivienne Westwood and 300 metallic Gucci sandals. She said she was delighted to be in London. "In the four years since the series ended, I have been spending a lot of time with friends and family in Britain and working here. I even have an Oyster card." It was said Cattrall was the one whose demands delayed the new film. She added: I think that leaving it for four years was the right thing to do - it was the right time to come back together." Asked if she would be willing to do a sequel, she said: "Perhaps. Kristin Davis, 43, who plays married Charlotte York looked just as demure on the red carpet in a red vintage dress, and beige Christian Louboutin shoes, and her trademark ultra-glossy hair. Unfortunately she clashed a little with Kim Cattrall, who was also wearing red, and they made sure not to stand too close to one another.
