Islamabad - On the complaint of high-ups of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), Kohsar police have booked an inspector of the authority for using criminal force and obstructing the CDA team in the execution of duty, as it approached a house in Sector F-7/1 to remove non-conforming use of the premises.
According to details, Director Building Control Section (BCS) CDA Shafiullah Marwat reported to the police that he along with other staff reached House-3 in sector F-7/1 so as to remove non-conforming use of the premises. BCS had already cancelled the allotment of the house being it under non-conforming use. However, Inspector Sajawal Khan had set up a boutique there. As the CDA team reached there to remove non-conforming use, the inspector and his two associates Muhammad Afzal and Abdul Qadeer offered resistance and obstructed the team in execution of their duty. Police have booked the accused under section 353, 186, 452, 448, 109 and 161 of the PPC.
The accused is still to be arrested.
Meanwhile, Islamabad police have arrested six outlaws from various areas of the city besides recovering liquor, hashish and stolen property from their possession, a police spokesman said. According to details, Aabpara police arrested Haroon Ejaz and recovered 110 grams hashish from his possession. The police also arrested an accused Grafen Masih who was involved in facilitating a proclaimed offender. Khana police arrested Irfan for his alleged involvement in a murder case and also recovered a dagger from him. Police also arrested bootlegger Shakeel and recovered 30 liquor bottles from him. The police arrested another accused Asif Shah for selling petroleum products illegally. Koral police arrested another drug peddler Shakeel and recovered 1.35 kg hashish from him. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway.
Furthermore, Islamabad police have arrested 10 suspects during search operation in various areas of the city. Police teams conducted a search operation in the area of Tarnol police station and succeeded to nab 10 suspects who are being investigated further.
