Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal said the beginning of flow of massive Chinese investment in Pakistan was a proof of the success of the government’s policies, and that it has restored the foreign investors’ trust in the country.
Addressing a public gathering held at Muhammadpura-Narowal city here after inaugurating a gas supply project, the federal minister added that the national economy was getting better day by day and heading towards the goal of economic stability.
He said that the time had proved that Pakistan and China were great friends of all weathers and their everlasting friendship was being strengthened day by day. He said that Pak-China Economic Corridor would bring economic stability in Pakistan.
He added that a US$ 46 billion massive Chinese investment in Pakistan was an ample proof of Pakistan’s positive, effective and successful policies.
He said that the investment would help re-build the confidence of foreign investors as Pakistan was striving to provide business and investment-friendly atmosphere to the national and foreign investors.
He said that the government was committed to raising the living standard of the people by ensuring early and smooth provision of basic facilities at their doorsteps.
