Rawalpindi - Regional Police Officer (RPO) Wisal Fakhar Sultan Raja on Wednesday held an Ordal Room and reinstated a head constable and six constables who had been dismissed from services on different charges ranging from corruption to launching faulty investigation into cases.

“The punishments of three other police officers were upheld by the top police boss,” informed RPO Office spokesman here on Wednesday.  He said that all the police officers, including head constable and constables were dismissed from services by City Police Officer or District Police Officers of Attock, Jhelum and Chakwal on different charges.

He said that all the police officials filed appeals before RPO to review their departmental punishments who held an Ordal Room to hear the appeals. After reviewing the appeals, RPO reinstated a head constable Muhammad Bisharat and six constables, including Asif Butt, Tauqeer Hussain, Faisal Mehmood, Nasir Mehmood, Haroon Shehzad, Mohsin Raza and Muhammad Musharaf.  However, he said the RPO rejected the appeals of Sub Inspector Ijaz, ASI Muhammad Idrees and constable Muhammad Akhram because of their dismissal from service on serious charges of corruption or launching faulty investigations into different cases.
