The renovation and expansion of Bacha Khan International Airport Peshawar has been almost completed, reported by Radio Pakistan.

Talking to Radio Pakistan Peshawar Correspondent Falak Niaz, Project Director Bacha Khan International Airport Peshawar Kashif Shah said the federal government has spent three billion rupees on renovation and expansion of the airport.

The project include installment of five electric lifts, five escalators and modern parking system for vehicles.

Similarly, four passenger lounges have been established which can accommodate one thousand and five hundred passengers.

The Project Director said Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi is expected to inaugurate the newly constructed and renovated section of the airport next week
