KARACHI – Sindh Chief Secretary Raja Muhammad Abbas has asked the Police Traffic Branch to ensure removal of congestion in various areas specifically in Saddar Town’s roads ie, Mir Karam Ali Talpur Road, Dawoodpota Road, Preedy Street, Regal Chowk and Urdu Bazar area near Government Women College and Radio Pakistan.

He said here on Tuesday that the traffic jam and congestion create a number of problems for the peoples and the road-users.

The chief secretary was presiding over a high level meeting on certain issues.

Sindh Police IG Fayyaz Leghari assured that needful would be done immediately through a campaign. Leghari instructed the Traffic Police officials, on the spot to address the traffic irregularities.

The chief secretary categorically noted that no violation of rules and regulation would be allowed and that the road safety measures must be undertaken, he added. Others who attended the meeting included Additional IG Falak Khurshid, Special Secretary Home, Mudassir Iqbal, Member (LU) BoR, GM Phull, and Additional I.G Special Branch, Rasool Bakhsh Saand.
