RAWALPINDI - A 30-year-old man committed suicide due to unemployment here at Allahabad on Tuesday.
Police shifted the dead body to District Headquarter Hospital (DHQ) for autopsy. The deceased was identified as Nayyar Abbas son of Muhammad Ashraf (late).
According to Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Sajid Shah, who is investigating the case, Nayyar, a resident of Allahabad, Street Number 5, House Number 558, was unemployed because of which he was unable to feed his three sisters.
He said that parents of Nayyar died some time ago. The family was living in very miserable condition, he added.
On the day of incident, Nayyar hanged himself with a telephone cable, tied to a pool on the rooftop for drying the clothes, and died on the spot, ASI said adding that police on information reached the spot and shifted the dead body to DHQ for autopsy.
