RAWALPINDI - A man shot dead his brother over a domestic dispute at Bhoora Hayyal village here on Tuesday.
According to details, a brawl occurred between two brothers Saqib and Shamraiz, sons of Ghulam Mustafa, over a family dispute at Bhoora Hayyal village. Later, Saqib opened fire with a pistol at Shamraiz killing him on the spot. The killer fled after committing the crime.
Police were informed by some villagers about the tragic incident, on which a police party reached the spot, took the dead body into custody and later shifted it to District Headquarter Hospital (DHQ) for postmortem, told Station House Officer (SHO) PS Kahuta Sardar Zulfiqar. “No body filed any application with police so far for legal action,” he added.
He added that the family members were trying to hide the incident from police as no body arrived in the police station for legal action against the killer.
